STAIND: New Video Interview With AARON LEWIS Available

August 9, 2008

Possum of Altitude recently conducted an interview with vocalist Aaron Lewis of Springfield, Masachusetts natives STAIND. Aaron talks about not being able to play the obscure songs due to people wanting to hear the hits and talks about his dad and the band's longevity. Watch the chat below.

"Believe", the new video from STAIND, can be viewed below. The song comes off the group's new album, "The Illusion of Progress", which is due on August 19 via Atlantic Records.

STAIND will release a special edition of the new CD featuring three bonus tracks and a one-year membership to the group's fan club. The band is also allowing fans to pre-order the album via their cell phones with a new mobile Amazon.com promotion.

"The Illusion of Progress" is the follow-up to 2005's "Chapter V", which has sold just under one million copies in the U.S.

STAIND is in the middle of a U.S. tour with 3 DOORS DOWN and HINDER; international dates with NICKELBACK are scheduled for September.
